What's Blooming - Spring 2019

There are colorful flowers, gorgeous roses and blooming trees around every corner. There’s no doubt about it… Spring has arrived in the Land of Enchantment!

  • Red Tip Photinia are showing off their brilliant new foliage in red and white colors.
  • Spireas are looking great!
  • Lavender is blooming with beautiful and fragrant purple spikes.
  • Perennials are a gorgeous addition to New Mexico flower beds and landscapes.
  • Red Valerian (Jupiter's Beard) is blooming in red, white and pink.
  • Mexican Evening Primrose is blooming in a pretty pink color.
  • Dianthus is flowering in all colors.
  • Cherry Sage is everywhere, along with shasta daisies, yarrow, penstemons, catmint and salvia.
  • Experience the wonderful summer-flowering annuals such as million bells petunias, marigolds, impatiens, zinnias, gazania, portulaca, lantana, begonia, salvia, geraniums, dianthus, dahlias, alyssum, lobelia and verbena… and more!
  • Spanish broom is starting to bloom in masses of fragrant yellow pea-like flowers. Desert bird of paradise are in their best shape right now with yellow and red exotic-looking flowers.
